Effective August 17, 2026
Ascendya never connects to your bank, never moves your money, and never asks for account or card numbers. The financial figures you enter are stored on your own device first. If you choose to sync across devices, those figures are stored in our database under your account ID. We don't sell your information, and we don't use your financial data for advertising.
Ascendya does not collect bank credentials, account numbers, routing numbers, card numbers, Social Security numbers, or government identification. It does not connect to financial institutions and has no ability to initiate transactions. Ascendya does not collect location data and does not use advertising or cross-site tracking technologies.
Your financial figures are written to your browser's local storage, scoped to your account ID, so different accounts on the same device never see each other's data. Where cross-device sync is enabled for your account, the same data is also stored in our Supabase-hosted database, keyed to your Clerk user ID, so you can pick up where you left off on another device. Requests to that database are made only from our server, never from your browser.
Ascendya uses cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in. These are set by Clerk as part of authentication. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party tracking pixels.
Ascendya does not currently run a third-party analytics product. Our hosting provider keeps standard server request logs (such as IP address, timestamp, and requested URL) as part of operating the service. If we add analytics in the future, this policy will be updated first, and we will not send your financial figures to any analytics service.
Ascendya's AI chat feature is not currently available. When AI-assisted guidance returns, this policy will be updated to describe exactly what is sent, to whom, and how it is retained — before the feature is enabled.
We rely on a small number of providers to operate Ascendya:
Each provider receives only what it needs to perform its function. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Paid plans are not yet being billed. Ascendya does not currently process payments and does not store any payment information. Before billing begins, this policy will be updated to name the payment processor and describe how payment data is handled.
To operate the service and show you your own numbers; to keep you signed in; to sync your data across your devices when enabled; to respond to support requests; and to keep the platform secure and functioning. We do not use your financial figures to train models or to build profiles about you.
Data stored on your device stays until you clear it or delete it in the app. Data stored in our database is retained while your account is active. Deleting your data in the app removes it from both places. Deleting your account removes your Clerk profile and the associated stored data.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, or delete it. Contact us and we will respond.
Traffic to Ascendya is encrypted in transit. Server-only credentials are never exposed to the browser, and database access is restricted to our server. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to keep your account credentials private.
Ascendya is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it. Users under 18 should have a parent or guardian review these terms with them.
We may update this policy as the product changes. When we make a material change, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
