By creating an account or using Ascendya Finance ("Ascendya," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Ascendya. If you are under 18, you may only use the service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf. By using Ascendya you represent that you meet these requirements.
Authentication is handled by our provider, Clerk. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your credentials secure, and to be responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
Ascendya is an educational personal-finance workspace. It helps you organize numbers you enter yourself: splitting take-home pay into bills, a savings buffer, and safe-to-spend; tracking recurring bills and subscriptions; setting money rules; running what-if scenarios; and reviewing patterns in your own logged history.
Every figure Ascendya displays is derived from data you typed in. Ascendya does not connect to banks or financial institutions, does not import transactions, does not hold, move, invest, or transfer money, and cannot initiate payments.
Ascendya is not a bank, credit union, money transmitter, broker-dealer, investment adviser, financial planner, accountant, tax preparer, or law firm, and is not licensed or registered as any of these. Nothing in the service is personalized financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice. The tools, projections, scenarios, and educational content are general in nature and may not fit your circumstances.
Consult a qualified professional before making significant financial decisions. You are solely responsible for the decisions you make.
Ascendya's calculations depend entirely on the accuracy and completeness of what you enter. Scenario projections are assumption-based illustrations, not predictions or guarantees. Real outcomes will differ. We do not warrant that any figure, forecast, or piece of guidance is accurate, complete, or suitable for your situation.
Ascendya's AI chat feature is not currently available. If and when AI-assisted features are enabled, any output they produce will be general and educational, may be incomplete or incorrect, and must not be treated as personalized professional advice. You are responsible for verifying anything you act on.
You retain ownership of the information you enter. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, process, and display it back to you as part of operating the service. You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of what you enter. See the Privacy Policy for how data is stored and deleted.

Ascendya offers a Free tier alongside paid tiers — Essential ($9.99/month), Plus ($14.99/month), and Ascend ($19.99/month) — and a 21-day trial of Essential features for new accounts that have not selected a plan.
Billing is not currently active. Ascendya is not charging for paid plans at this time and does not process payments. Before any charges begin, we will update these terms to describe pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refund practices, and we will give you notice and the opportunity to decline. Prices listed in the app are indicative and may change.
Ascendya depends on third-party providers, including Clerk (authentication), Supabase (database), and Railway (hosting). Their availability and behavior are outside our control, and their own terms may apply to your use of them through Ascendya.
Ascendya is under active development. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We will try to give notice of significant changes, but are not obligated to maintain any particular feature.
Ascendya, including its software, design, branding, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. These terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback, you grant us permission to use them freely, without obligation or compensation to you.
You may stop using Ascendya and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, if it is necessary to protect the service or other users, or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ascendya and its founders will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or financial losses, arising from your use of the service — including decisions you make based on information the service displays.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold Ascendya harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the service or your violation of these terms or of applicable law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Ascendya is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We will try to resolve any dispute informally first — contact us before filing a claim.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we make a material change, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Ascendya after a change means you accept the updated terms.
